Macfarlanes has advised Sterling Pharma Solutions and GHO Capital Partners as seller (GHO), a European specialist investor in global healthcare, on the transfer of Sterling, a leading pharmaceutical development and manufacturing organisation.

GHO are reinvesting in Sterling alongside Partners Group. Partners Group is acquiring a significant minority stake. GHO remain Sterling's majority shareholder.

GHO first partnered with Sterling Pharma Solutions in 2019 in a transaction on which Macfarlanes advised GHO. The new investment will support Sterling in expanding its production capacity across the UK, Europe and the US.
