Macfarlanes has advised private UK real estate investment firm Brydell Partners as its third fund closes at £267m.

Brydell invests its own capital alongside managed discretionary funds, raised from global institutional LPs. The firm has £510m of equity under management and the team run a sector agnostic strategy. The current portfolio includes labs, retirement living, student accommodation, retail warehousing, offices, education and industrial. Brydell are long term owners of real estate with flexibility to invest in direct assets and developments, asset backed operating businesses, regeneration projects and credit.

The Macfarlanes team was led by investment management partner Alex Amos with assistance from associate Miriam Cable, together with tax advice from partner James McCredie and senior counsel Sarah Shucksmith.
